KEYSTONE TIP
To help your children be (and feel) safe and secure on those occasions
when you can't be home with them, teach them the following:
- Their telephone number
and complete address.
|
- How to contact you
at work.
|
- An emergency contact
if you can't be reached at work.
|
- Never to let anyone
into the house they do not know, no matter who they say
they are. If someone insists on coming in or tries to force
open the door, instruct them to call you or their emergency
contact.
|
- Not to tell anyone
who calls on the phone that they are home alone.
|
- When and how to dial
911 and what procedures to follow.
|
- How to get out of the
house in case of fire.
